The Dallas native began his art career at a very young age and sold his first painting at the age of ten. A University of Texas graduate, he studied advertising in college and worked in a variety of fields until he dropped everything -- despite his parents' wishes that he pursue a "practical" career -- to become a full-time artist. Jones has been painting for 40 years and was recently featured on Good Morning Texas, where he painted live in the studio.
Jones' work proudly hangs in the private collections of former Vice President Dan Quayle (as well several of his advisors), professional athletes, and in over 20 galleries across North America, including Texas Treasures in Boerne, LA Designs in Missoula, Montana, and Summit Gallery in Park City, Utah.
